Now add up your points and find out the answer you have been waiting for! Put your character in the subject line and forward to your friends and back to the person that sent this to you. Very interesting to see "who" your friends are!

(10-16 points) You are Garfield: You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what you are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others may not see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

(17-23 points) You are Snoopy : You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what's in and you never are out of style! . You are good at knowing how to satisfy everyone else. You have probably disappeared for a few days more than once but you always come home with the family values that you learned. Being married and having children are important to you, but only after you have had your share of fun
times.

(24-28 points) You are Elmo: You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing to give advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic and you always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not to be too much of a dreamer, if not you will have many conflicts with life.

(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants : You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never want to lose. You never cause harm to anyone and they w ould never not understand your feelings. Life is a journey, it's funny and calm for the most part. Stay away from traitors and jealous people, and then you will be stress free.

(36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown : You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your mom every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few Birthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points) You are Dexter: You are smart and definitely a thinker. Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. Maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes.

Now don't spoil it! Have some Fun!! Change the subject of the email to what you are and send it on!

Boucle Ripple Lap Ghan Done!

I finished this up the other night. It is a gift for my step-sister. I made one for my dad for Christmas and she loved it so much wanted one for herself. I don't have to tell you how warm and soft items made with Bernat Soft Boucle are. I was lucky enough to get all the yarn (except one skein) on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $1.50 each! I didn't have any idea how wonderful they would all work together but they do. I know she'll love it. Now I only made this big enough for her to wrap around herself but you could easily just keep adding rows to make it a full afghan.

P.S. The moment I laid it out on the floor to take a pic, Fozzy thought I had made this just for him! I tried 3 times to get him to move and he wasn't about to budge! I don't know what it is with my doggies, they are always trying to claim my crocheted items!

I'm fed up!

I have about had it working for the devil. Yes I need a paycheck but I also need my sanity. We are supposed to get every 3rd Saturday off and was promised it would start up again after tax season ended. Tax season ended how long ago and still nothing? After begging I finally got approved for the 1st of July off as we are moving that weekend. Well, working 6 days a week, when am I supposed to pack? I asked for this Saturday off as this would be 3 weeks before the 1st and he threw a fit saying he needed to talk to the other manager. I had just talked to her and she said it wouldn't be a problem. Well now all of a sudden, her worker, the girl who fills in for me when I'm gone needs Saturday off. Excuse me? I thought we weren't getting Saturday's off til the 1st of July? Now all of a sudden she's getting it off. Then I find out that the 2 of them have been taking Saturday's off for awhile now. I'm just done with it. Last Friday after spending all night in the emergency room with my foot and being told not to go to work for 3 days, I went straight to work all doped up on drugs from the hospital so I could function and do I get a thank you? NO! After I had carpal tunnel surgery they told me NOT to go back to work for at least 3 days but I only took the day of and the day after the surgery off and did I get a thank you? NO! I got complaints about not being there (even though I have sick time available).

Not to mention that every single time I fix something for this man that instead of thanking me for saving him tons of money at a computer repair shop he says things like "man, I really did a great job fixing that Donna. I amaze even myself." The man is so full of himself and really thinks he is God. Well I am through. The moment I get another job I'm so gone. I am tired of him treating me like crap and bullying everyone in his path. He honestly thinks that he's all that. He brags about cutting deals with people and such but it never happens. When I started there over a year ago he promised to get the lights fixed (the only lights that work are the ones in the main office and the bathroom. You have to walk in the dark to get to the bathroom and to get to the storeroom in back.) Not to mention that the phone has always been a problem. There's a static in it that's so bad sometimes I cannot make or take a phone call. Heck, how about the fact that I was working in a 95 degree office for a whole week before the man bothered to come out and check to make sure I wasn't lying about it being 95 degrees in there. Well I'm through with it.

Since starting there last February I have more than tripled business. I'm bringing in more money than this store has ever seen but that isn't good enough for him. He's constantly wanting more and quick to tell everyone what a bad job we are all doing. Not to mention NO RAISE since I've been there. The manager at our other store has been there for years and has never gotten one. Everytime she asks he tells her that she doesn't deserve one.

Well I am tired of putting money into a man's wallet that is essentially the devil. I am worth more than that. He feels because we are "salaried" employees he can work us how ever many hours he wants to. Heck, last year when I was out for a couple days for dental surgery he actually tried docking my paycheck! You can't have your cake and eat it too! I found out that in the state of Florida, in order for you to be a salaried employee you have to make a certain amount of money and I certainly don't make it. Well let him get another person who will work 6 days every week for peanuts cuz I'm not doing it anymore!

P.S. For those of you kind enough to ask, my foot is doing much better. I'm off the crutches but I still can't walk that far. I was going to go to the foot Dr but our new insurance is an HMO and I have to go to the primary before I can go to the Podiatrist. Like I have time and money to do that. At this point I'm making my Dr's appointments and the office can go to hell for all I care!

1st Seraphina Done

I finally made a Seraphina Shawl! It took a CAL for this over at CAL Pals to get me off my butt and actually make it, but I finally did! I absolutely love this shawl! I made it with Jo-Ann's Boucle Rainbow Yarn in Pink Tones and worked this up over 3 days. It took me approx 10 hours to complete. I used a size K Boye hook and after getting a revised pattern with massive corrections, was able to do it. I am giving this one away but I am going to start another one with the Rainbow Boucle in Blue Tones later this week. Thanks for looking...

P.S. Unfortunately I do not believe the corrected version is available on line. I spoke with the person who wrote the "modified" version and since the original owner of this pattern hasn't approved of a revision being published on the web the best I can do is to point you in the direction of help. Over at Crochetville there is a thread with some really good basic help. Once you get going it's really easy so to see it, click HERE. Please DO NOT e-mail me or PM me anymore about sending you this pattern. I really do not want to get in trouble for sending someone else's pattern without their permission (not to mention that I don't even have the revised pattern anymore). If I get anymore e-mails or PM's regarding me sending this pattern I will delete it. I'm sorry but I tried to be helpful but it's become a full time job answering e-mails. Last week alone I got over 12 e-mails from people wanting this pattern! Multiply that by 52 weeks in a year and maybe you can understand where I'm coming from. I hope the thread over on Crochetville can help you!!!!

WIP's and other ramblings

Well I woke up this morning at 3:30 and couldn't go back to bed so I picked up the corrected pattern for the Seraphina Shawl, my fave Boye size K hook and a new skein of Rainbow Boucle yarn in pink tones. It was the perfect time to get started on this and I'm so glad I did. I have it about 1/2 way finished right now! It's going to be beautiful when done!

I'm also finishing up my portion of the Survivor CAL (should have it done by Friday) and it's soooooo cute! Can't wait til the voting begins!

I still have a few more rows left on my sisters lapghan. I'm doing hers in 3 different colors of Bernat Soft Boucle in a ripple pattern. The colors which I got because they were on clearance worked out so nicely together.

I finally pretty much finished my mom's sweater that I started last year but doggone it, I cannot find the magazine the pattern was in and I need to do the trim and button holes. Oh well, we are moving at the end of the month and I am hopeful either when I pack or unpack I'll find it.

I haven't picked up the pinwheels in awhile. Just can't bring myself to get back on the horse on this one. I hope after a couple of relatively mindless and easy projects I'll be ready to pick that one back up again soon.

What else? Oh, I'm putting the finishing touches on my pals Small Toys for the swap. I'm sure there are more but can't think of them at the moment.

Well, my foot seems to be doing much better. I am able to put weight on my foot now and stand up for a minute or so at a time which I couldn't really do before without being in massive pain. My hand is bothering me a little more with all the use from the crutches but it appears to be healing well.

I have to go to Wal-Mart tonite as I am out of lunches and we need just a few things like bread and milk. Can't walk too far yet so I'll have to use one of the little scooters. I hate using them but I am glad they have them available.

Doug's been so good about taking care of me and doing the dishes and such. It's been almost 3 weeks now that I haven't been able to do anything. I am really ready to get back to normal.

I am going to try and start packing up my craft room tonite. (SOB SOB SOB) it's going to kill me but it must be done. I will of course leave one box of my crochet stash within reach at all times and I think I'll bring a few extra things to work with me so that just in case my boxes get moved to where I can't get to them, I'll have something to work on.

The air conditioner finally got fixed here at work yesterday! It feels sooooo nice in here today! Last week was just horrendous. Most days when I left it was 95 degrees in here. It only ended up costing $60 to fix so at least it wasn't something major (not like I paid anyway!).

I'd like to leave today's note on this note:

Life is precious. Enjoy every moment you are given. If you enjoy spending your time trashing other people, making fun of them and sending them nasty e-mails or flaming them on your blogs, you are not worth my time. We are all mortal beings and will meet Jesus one day. I choose to live for the Lord and to enjoy this life He has given me and cherish what I have. I may not agree with everyone and may think some crocheted items are ugly but I'm not going to spend my time making others feel like sludge. We are all given a choice in life and must choose our own paths. Let's all try to love one another instead of tearing each other down.

Maria Purse

I tested this for a fellow CVille member and it was a great little project. I made this with Caron Simply Soft in Orange and used some Boa yarn for the ribbon. This is a great purse for a little girl or even for an adult who only needs to carry a few things. Thanks for letting me test this! Love it!!!

P.S. Please forgive the bad picture. I will redo it tonite.
